I Karen have used the Sprinit PNS in my left leg for 2 months and I can not believe how great it works. Once I got the right setting for the amount of pain I had, I actually was able to SLEEP. The pain is gone and it feels great. I would recommend this procedure to anyone that has bad pain. Very easy to use and set for your pain level. PS. I can even walk better farther and longer.

I have been suffering from chronic pain for years now and nothing seemed to help.  I tried just about everything and nothing seemed to help.  Having diabetic neuropathy I was really not a candidate and did not want to have these big surgeries like a fusion surgery or another major surgery that would result in a long recovery and be high risk.  I have spinal stenosis and radiculopathy along with the chronic pain nerve pain that comes with my diabetes.  I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Abend and he talked to me about a minimally invasive procedure that treats neuropathic chronic pain called spinal cord stimulation. He told me no bones needed to be cut and it’s as minimally invasive as it gets when it comes to surgery.  The best part was that I could actually do a trial to see if it works and make the decision for myself whether I wanted the actual implant.  I decided I had nothing to lose and went forward with the trial.  It was such a  great decision as it helped the chronic pain in my lower back and legs tremendously!  I noticed I was also in a better mood and just more myself since I wasn’t suffering with the daily struggle of my pain.  The trial truly give me the insight into what my life could be like with a spinal cord stimulator.  Now I am looking forward to the permanent implant and can’t wait to get back to my old self!
